I have lived in four states, from Arizona, Illinois, Missouri, and now Wisconsin. In every one of those states I have dealt with CO-OP power companies. This "Jump River " CO-OP is the most unreliable for service. It is also the most expensive per kw . The constant surge of power off and on has caused two of my major appliances to fail in the last ten years. This is the worst Coop in the United States. How they have 3 stars is beyond me. We have lived in the area for six months, we have had a power outage ever two weeks stretching from anywhere between 3 hours to 4 days. Including losing power for 5 hours on New Years. The fact that our town has not voted to oust this horrible company is ridiculous. Not to mention, they left an overhead line in my neighbors driveway (for 4 days!!!) before doing anything about it.
