I first came across Julita on a list of ethical wedding dress companies. Then a few months later I saw a styled shoot our celebrant took part in, and there it was: this glorious sequinned dress that I could not get out of my head. I recently had a bespoke dress made and designed by Jo (to be worn at my wedding in the summer of this year). I have been so overwhelmed by the care and intricacy in Jo’s work; the way she works with materials and understands movement; and her ability to turn an idea into a beautiful garment. Jo and her assistant Violetta were so patient with me throughout the process of creating my bespoke wedding dress. The initial design evolved and it was not the most straightforward dress to make but despite this they managed to create the most beautiful dress! I could not recommend them more highly and I am so excited to wear my dress on my wedding day.

Jo is unbelievably talented. I still have people coming up to me asking if I was the woman who wore “that amazing wedding dress”. I had tried so many failed dresses on in shops and then, I met Jo.
