For years I went to various neurologists who had no problem prescribing pain and nausea meds to treat my Migraine Attacks, but no one effectively prevented them…. Until I started seeing Dr Vieira. He worked with me to find the right combo of preventative meds along side of having choices for abortive Migraine Attacks. A few years ago during covid my mother went into the hospital because she was experiencing seizure like episodes every few minutes. She’s had MS for over 10 years at this point. The hospital did a brain scan and found a new and active lesion on her cerebral cortex. Seeing this, Dr Vieira then discharged my mother under the context that he symptoms were “psychosomatic” and that she was just “bi polar.” My mother then went to an MS specialist in the city who was fantastic- and horrified by the actions, or lack there of, taken ... read more
