I directed the cardiac catheterization and interventional laboratories and subsequently the Department of Cardiology at Sparks Regional Medical Center. His staff has been second to none they have been so patient with me and calming especially when I am in the middle of a panic attack. Terribly difficult to get an appointment. At my last checkup, I was told to come back in 6 months. Immediately after that, I was told that my nurse practitioner was booked so far out that it would be longer than that. It was closer to 9 months. Today I rescheduled an appointment due to predicted inclement weather since I Iive an hour away. I cannot get an appointment for 3 months. If they are still accepting new patients, they need to stop or they need to have sufficient staff to see patients in a timely manner. I have no pr... read more
