Been coming here since 1978 when I lived in Arlington. They are compassionate and caring. Only one Doctor in the past I did not care for and she went elsewhere shortly thereafter. Never rushed and take time to explain in depth what is best for my animals. Will NEVER go anywhere else. They have earned my trust. You can trust your loved ones here also. New to the area and even though Julington Creek Animal Hospital is only 5 minutes from home, I avoided it because of the reviews. I have a 15-year-old dog who requires frequent vet visits and I was also worried about affordability and the walk-in wait time. NEVER, EVER, board your dog here, EVER. My dog was boarded there over the Christmas break and was completely ignored. I had used them one other time but only for one night, not seven. I realize it was Christmas but that is no excuse. When I picked up my dog he smelled so bad it made one gag. He had obviously lain in feces and been wiped off - as though I would not notice his condition. When I took him to his groomer it took them 4 hours to get him reasonably clean. This is a great place to go! My dog always has fun and loves the staff. Wonderful big place to take your dogs to get fresh air and to burn energy! I definitely recommend this place to board, groom, and play at jcaw.
Do not go there/I think they tell the staff to tell the customer no with every question asked. Seems you cannot ever get your pet in for service if you do not have a appointment to get your dog a bath forget it no matter how early you take them.I have never found the staff to be friendly or helpful. I have lived in Jax my entire life and have owned both dogs and cats for the last 20 years. I even had a very close friend who's family owned a vet clinic. I have taken my pets to clinics in Baymeadows, Mandarin, and the Northside. At first looking for a good deal/ but later after really understanding what it means to be a good loving pet owner I searched for everywhere for the best care.
