An eccentric layout with 3 different rooms/passages but one of them is nice sunny “day room” type of place where one can watch the Amtrak gorge and disgorge it’s patrons, most of whom appeared slightly dazed on the day I lunched at JJH. There were a surprising number of both coffee drinks and interesting sandwich offerings. I love the layout of this building. With its nooks and crannies, it feels like you're walking around in a friend's house. The Amtrak station next door adds a wonderful touch of history with the old train depot still in use. And it's interesting to sit in a sunny spot and watch the trains coming and going. Definitely come for the hot drinks (coffee and hot chocolate), the baked goods, and the sandwiches and soup. It's worth a drive to Columbus just to visit this cozy local gem.
