Julie not only helped us get to the root of what was causing our son's behavioral issues, but helped us navigate how to handle at home as well as at school. She was patient with him (he absolutely loved her and still asks to go back and see her), and went over in detail all of the completed testing and what it all meant. I have already recommended friends who are having a difficult time with their children to Julie, and will continue to do so in the future!
Working with Julie on an evaluation was extremely useful. Dyslexia wasn't even on our radar until after we spoke with her. Her demeanor with our child was great an she spent the time and effort necessary to help us with resources to aid in her education. She is very knowledgeable about dyslexia and a passionate advocate for kids with learning differences.
My daughter went to Julie for psychoeducational testing and had the BEST time! Normally you wouldn’t put fun and testing together with an 8 year old. Julie made the entire process enjoyable, and something our daughter looked forward to! She didn’t want her time with Mrs. Julie to be over. Julie took her time and was able to help us navigate our daughter’s diagnosis. The testing is important but Julie being able to help guide us afterwards was even more important. Julie has been a wonderful resource for our family in figuring out the specific learning needs for both of our children. Her evaluation of both children was extremely thorough. She made the children feel very comfortable during their testing sessions. She listened to our concerns and delivered the testing results and her feedback in a kind, easy to understand manner.
