Dr. Gentile was relatively compassionate, but she is not well versed in the effects of withdrawal from psychiatric medications. She was dismissive of my concerns about the effects of withdrawal when I experienced them. I regret trusting her with my care.
I am trying to make appointments for myself (68) for major depression and anxiety and one for my son (40) who has depression/anxiety and needs ADHD medication (was evaluated by the Affinity Center in Cincinnati - he has the report from them). She is the best professional expert on Mental Illness with the disabled.. She has such knowledge in handling all mental health issues, for my non-verbal son with a genetic disorder..She has always had an answer with my son's behaviors ( OCD and Bi-polar )... She is a life Saver for Me And My Son!!
I have a son with several special needs, such as Mental retardation, bipolar, adhd etc. She is so sweet and very understanding. She treats him as if he is normal and she cares about her patients. I recommend her highly!!!
