We saw Dr Youssef in 2019 when she was still in Stanford Children's. She is THE ONE reason our child got the help he needed. She was proactive, knowledgeable, patient to explain in ways we could understand, and clear in the guidelines she gave us to start helping our son. We had been to several specialists before and were very confused as to how to proceed, but what was clear was that our little boy was not making progress. We have been very pleased with the care she has provided our child. She is caring and responsive when we have needed relatively immediate care. She is also the reason we were able to receive assistance from our school that our child needed. Like all DBPs right now, they are hard to get into but once you are in, you are going to be well cared for. She is worth the wait.

Dr. Youssef has been absolutely life-changing for our family. When our son first started with her, he was behind in school and had no self-regulation. Thanks to her care, guidance, and expertise, he’s now thriving; catching up academically, learning how to manage his emotions, and building real confidence in himself. She has not only helped our son but also given us the tools we need as parents to support him. The difference she has made in his life, and ours, is incredible. We are so grateful for everything she has done!

Dr. Youssef is a fantastic Doctor, v knowledgeable and just the best! With her, I know we are in safe hands - she is v inclusive when coming up with a patient plan and is willing to make accommodations based on parent input. The only thing is - its hard to get her appointment, she will help you work with her staff to do that :)
