I saw Dr Ling for the first time for chronic, uncontrollable Hypertension and mild angina. She was on time, extremely professional and so, so kind. She is a lovely person who truly cares. She went over my history and my medication and did some switches and my BP has been controlled since seeing her. She also ordered two tests that no other Dr ever would have. I saw Dr. Ling for suspected dysautonomia. She did thorough testing which I appreciated. My tilt test came back abnormal. She told me I had POTS without reviewing my results in any detail (only the final notes). The medicine she prescribed made me much worse, so at a followup I asked that she take another look at my tilt test results. She read the results in more detail this time and told me I don't* have POTS, and that she didn't know how to help with my dizziness or abnormal tilt test results. Excellent cardiologist. My recommendations for sure.
I went to Dr. Ling to try and get some help managing symptoms from my Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome which has been worsening and become harder to manage. She spoke with me for 10 minutes at the most and left me with "wear compression stockings" and no other help besides a follow up in one year and a note. I've heard that advice many times before and tried to explain that nothing has been consistently helping me manage my symptoms but she did not offer any treatment options.
