This woman’s compassion left a long time ago. My grandmother has a terminal and rare illness, affecting mobility and causes difficulty swallowing and has previously been prediabetic. Shes prescribed medication and equipment without explanation, and is unable to educate about it. “Well its a terminal illness” isn’t an excuse to not write orders for comfort measures. My mother is elderly and has been on the same medication and dose for years and she will no longer give refills unless she sees her every few months (it used to be yearly) when she used to give refills for a year. She is money hungry and has no compassion for her patients. The meds are for blood pressure and cholesterol (nothing crazy) and now my mom has to go off the medication because she refuses to refill it.
