Dr. Zakhaleva is absolutely amazing! One might even say God sent. I recently had a hemorrhoidectomy for Stage IV internal and external hemorrhoids. I was extremely nervous about the procedure and the levels of pain I would have to endure. Dr. Zakhaleva was so kind during my visit, and thoroughly explained the process. Dr. Zakhaleva was a Godsend and a true professional in every sense of the word. Not only did she provide the very best medical care, but the successful emergency intestinal surgery she performed on my mother saved her life. Dr. Z. was thorough and compassionate pre-op and her post-op was reassuring and thoughtful.
Most compassionate, consumate professional it has been my pleasure to know. She spends enough time with each patient, explaining the positives and negatives in a situation. She also defers to her patient wishes. I would elect to have any surgical procedure under her care.
