2025: We attempted to give this office a second and third attempt. Sadly it as proven that there internal office workers are unable to simply send a "prior authorization form" every year we have had delays in our annual prescription renewal due to the ineptitude of this office. While the doctors themselves are terrific. The staff cannot be trusted to handle the correct forms. They sent a jpeg of the medicine description instead of a "prior authorization" form. Been seeing Dr Hughes for years through various issues. Amazing doctor. Front of house is a train wreck with not answering calls and taking up to 30 days to return a call for an appointment, but that's no reason to leave the doctor herself negative reviews. That's a practice issue. Dr Hughes is great and spends time listening to my concerns and is genuinely interested in seeing me get well.
I've been suffering with many GI problems for so long. I saw Dr Julia Hughes today and I'm so grateful that she listened to me. I still have to do a lot of tests, but now I have hope that things will get figure out and I will get better! Thank you so much Dr Hughes, you are wonderful!
I love Dr Hughes!!!!! But getting someone to answer the phone or call you back or get anything done is almost impossible. It’s beyond frustrating.
Dr. Hughes was amazing. I needed an endoscopy procedure and her scheduler got me in seamlessly. I was very nervous and everyone at Wake was reassuring and helpful. Highly recommend!
