This was my first visit with Dr Binder. I am very satisfied with Dr Binder as my GI doctor. She listened to me and did not rush me. She explained things clearly and in a way I could understand. I will keep going to her because I trust her judgement.

I normally don't post reviews but I am writing this in the hopes of helping others. My initial visit with Dr. Binder seemed fine. She was definitely nicer than the other drs I've dealt with in the past. She still didn't think I had any problems and told me my issues are probably linked to anxiety. i went in for a very serious discussion about a significant problem that might only be solved by a drastic measure. she instead insinuated i was a drug addict and bulimic. i will absolutely never step a foot back into that office again.

Rude. I’m in Abington hospital now severe pain gi problems unable to eat or drink she tells me I need to go home and handle this outpatient. Really. Not sure unable to digest liquids is compatible with life. Just mean and dismissive. People like that shouldn’t be in medicine

Edit: Your email was returned to sender. So I couldn't get through to anyone. Dr. Binder is nice but NEVER available. Her schedule is packed! How do her patients deal with this longterm? If it's just a checkup, than fine, no rush. But if I need to see her sooner (and no I won't spend all day in the ER), what am I supposed to do? I can't rely on cancellation dates. My health is too important to wait months for any help.
