I cannot say enough good things about Julia James Salon. I've been following the owner, Sam, from salon to salon for years. She is in a class of her own in terms of skill and genuine care for her clients. I am super picky with my hair, and I’ve been struggling for a long time to find a stylist who does a good job, understands what I am asking for, and provides explanation on what she’s doing to my hair. I came to Julia James for my appointment with Savannah and she was AWESOME. She was so kind, so professional, and she explained everything that she was doing to my hair. Over priced and NOT transparent about cancelation fees. Apparently, just toner would have cost me $200 today. This policy should be verbally explained at the scheduling of all appointments, or a discolsure should be commented to review cancelation policies at the time of scheduling. A customer is not going to go looking for these if they are unaware they exist in the first place. Terrible business and customer service.
