I can’t thank The Julia Argyrou Endometriosis Centre enough. Through their talks and events, I began to realise how little is truly understood about endometriosis — it’s so often dismissed as “just a painful period,” when it’s not. I was diagnosed with endometriosis earlier this year, which was an extremely challenging time for me. Through this centre, I received incredible support from Kate Tyson and Julia, as well as the extremely kind nurses who helped me understand more about what endometriosis is and how to manage the pain. I have so much to thank them for their care and guidance.
