We heard good things about this place and decided to try it out. Good is an understatement. My wife got fried chicken with fried okra and Mac and cheese and I got the fried ribs with fried okra and Mac and cheese. It all was delicious but if you want fast, go somewhere else. Everything was cooked fresh and made to order so it was definitely worth the short wait. Also, the 5 second rule doesn't apply here. A friend and I ate there yesterday. The food was awesome !!! I had meatloaf mashed potatoes and pinto beans. They give you enough for 2 meals. Music was a little loud. Place was very clean. Staff was great. Definitely recommend. Will be back !!!
We loved the catfish basket, catfish was very flavorful and fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly. I recommend ordering ahead as the food is fresh and not fast food.
Oxtails were delicious. Mac n cheese and collard greens were as well. I’ll definitely be back.
Only reason I gave it a 4 is because no one greeted me after waiting for over 5 minutes and multiple ppl walking by me, and when it was time to pay, I was offered an option to tap my card on sometimes phone to avoid taxes. I declined and I swiped my card to include taxes in the register, the food was awesome and fresh, but I most definitely will be going back. Probably order through door dash next time.
