I went to the walk-in clinic on 4/11/26 around 2:00 PM. I had my period last month. However, the nurse asked me if I was "post menopausal" for no reason. This could all have been avoided with one question: "When was your last period?"
I was at Baptist Health ER on 2/11/26. The care was outstanding! Dr. Steele took the time to listen to what I was saying. The nurses (except for one) were all kind and compassionate. I was assigned a case manager, Cheryl who was wonderful. Radiology was great. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. This hospital really knows how to treat patients. During a procedure, I told her whatever she's doing HURT. She continued as if deaf ( a spinal nerve ablation) now I'm having trouble with my legs and it's difficult to walk. My previous doc, Dr Block who moved to Cincinnati did my previous one , without hurting me and I was pain free for multiple years.
This might be the most ridiculous experience in healthcare I have experienced. They made it so hard to get an appointment. I thought I had done my due diligence before even contacting them, but no. My doctor recommended them so I got online and filled out the paperwork required before they will set up an appointment. They called me while I was out of town and said they could not set an appointment without having a copy of my insurance card.
