Specialist ignored confirmed thyroid nodules and a family history of thyroid cancer, inappropriately increased my NP Thyroid dose, and left me fighting severe fatigue and health decline. Unfortunately, my experience seems part of a consistent pattern of dismissive and outdated care that others have reported, while the only positive reviews appear to be from patients of 15+ years. This was nothing short of dangerous medical neglect. Do not trust this provider with your health.
Very understandable and knows what he is talking about
Giving a 3 because I really do like Dr. Menefee. His staff recently, however, is rude and they act like they have no idea what they're doing. I've called up there 3 times to make sure they received my insurance referral-since my previous one expired- and no one can seem to find it. Hell, when they were asking for my name they kept "huh-ing" and sounding like they were so confused as to what a name was. Or how to use the computer. This man is rude and outdated! I read the reviews but had hope that maybe they weren't true, but I was wrong! He's probably a great diabetes doctor, but when it comes to thyroid health, he is very outdated! I'm not sure if he has something against women, but every woman I've talked to that has seen him in the last year or two has had a horrible experience! Every man I've talked to said he was wonderful!
