I waited about 90 minutes before I actually saw the doctor. Then when I did, she was so rushed and I felt like I was taking up too much time. I had several things I wanted to discuss with her but was told that I could not bring up so many issues in one appointment. She was rude unprofessional and going in and out of my room the first visit to answer a personal phone call the follow up visit she had no idea why I was back she did not open my chart to look at the notes she just was looking at me crazy the patient before me I could hear her talk to nice and pleasant to him but came in my room all of 2 to 5 minutes and was clueless then she left rudely and had her nurse come give me sample medication then sends my prescription to the pharmacy that costs me 1,200 had she opened my chart she... read more
Whether it’s been a virtual visit or an in office appointment. Dr. Poplin has always taken great care of me. His staff are equally impressive and I’ve been blessed to finally find a doctor who listens to every word and then I will take his advice or medications if prescribed. He’s not one of those physicians who writes prescriptions just because a patient wants a particular medication if it’s not conducive to a proper treatment or procedure. Dr. Poplin has been my family doctor for several years because I read his reviews and the physicians in Shelbyville had misdiagnosed me, had nurse practitioners instead of my doctor without mentioning that change plus other unprofessional conduct Dr. Poplin has always been there in person and I can get in on an emergency visit any morning at 7am or 8am. Dr. Pickett is a terrible representation of what a Doctor should be and is not recommended, at all. Her bedside manner is very careless: she makes it clear you are bothering her, when she replies to your concerns with her very thoughtless remarks that have no solution to problems presented. She comes into the examining room with a very bad attitude, slamming her laptop on the desk as if it weighs a ton, sighing as if you are bothering her day with your appointment. Would not answer any questions at the initial meeting. Told me he had other patients waiting. Advised I needed an ECG, ultrasound, and stress test. After ECG, ultrasound, and stress test, a technician called and said all was normal, no other information offered. I emailed Dr Doddapaneni with several questions after looking over the MY CHART test reports. Response from email was to make an appointment in a month and he would answer my questions at that appointment.
No I could never recommend this Doctor. He totally was wrong about diagnoses and the treatment could have made me even sicker. Thank God I went to Northwestern for second opinion.
