Dr. Canabal Alvear was great. I was so nervous to find a new doctor after over 10 years with the same one. But she made me feel comfortable and was very knowledgeable.
Simply stated, the best experience with a physical and office I've ever had. In today's Healthcare system this is a very rare and special individual.
If they schedule you with her, DEMAND someone else, or find another place. Let’s set aside her complete lack of bedside manner. Let’s set aside her appalling lack of any sympathy or empathy for a grieving mother. Beyond how cold she is, she also failed to provide routine and expected communication. I had a trauma seeing OBGYN and never seen one after so many years. So I decided to see one again due to some concerns. Meeting w/ Dr. Canabal was a very good experienced. She took her time explaining things. She tells me every single procedure that needs to be done and what to expect. She made me feel comfortable. Im so thankful that I found her.
Wonderful experience with Dr. Canabal. Can’t say enough good things. She delivered my son at the hospital and she was great. Truly made me feel comfortable. Walked me through everything— remarkable bedside manner.
