This guy is a rip off. He told us in our initial consultation that he could file a chapter 7 after reviewing our income and took $800.00. Then when we went back in to finish paperwork and finally file (after 2 months), he then claimed he could no longer do the Chapter 7, but he could do a Chapter 13 with the end result of $930.00 a month to the bankruptcy court. On 10-2009 I met with this firm and I paid $1,500 for a CH 7. So IF ANYONE PAID LESS AND GOT RIPPED OFF THEN YOU WERE LUCKY IN A WAY! This attorney told me after I showed information about FRAUDULUENT ACTIONS WITHIN MY PAPERS TOLD ME "I WAS GOING ROGUE" Then it took this firm an entire month for Michael Jude to recuse himself from the courts! JudeLaw is a great law office, they dont bait and switch the 500$ price line, its actually 500$! They also provide tremendous service and care to your case! I wouldn't go to another legal office in a million years! Go JudeLaw!
Beware of paying for a low cost bankruptcy, as they will say ohh since you have this and that well you'll have to pay more.
I just moved from CO and had filed BK with these people and I have to say that I wished I had gone somewhere else. Talk about RUDE and not following through with stuff.
My experience is that this firm is unprofessional. The staff are rude. Michael made racist comments and jokes each and every meeting. The firm experiences high turn-over so you must track your case to ensure that nothing is overlooked. (I found several errors and omissions on my schedules.) If you have a complex case, I would suggest looking elsewhere. Your paperwork is sent electronically and when I requested a paper copy, I was told to "buy a printer." Amazing Service – Michael Jude and the entire staff at JudeLaw LLC were total rock stars. Nobody wants to file bankruptcy, but if you need to... go to Jude Law. Their slogan of "people helping people" is SO spot on. Everyone there was more than happy to help out when I started to panic about the whole process. Great experience! – I had a truly wonderful experience at JudeLaw. The staff there was exceptional! I filed BK July 6, 2011 and everything went smoothly. Michael Jude was very upfront about what he does and was thorough in making sure that everything was claimed in my BK that needed to be. Unethical Attorney – Never trust Michael Jude Law LLC - He is an unethical attorney who will take your money and leave you hanging! I trusted Michael Jude to do my bankruptcy in July 2010. I paid him 912.00 up front to file a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. From the first day I arrived at his office. I had to wait an hour to see him. They never called when they said they were going to.
