Enjoyed my meal and had very good service. The menu has lots to choose from. The quality of the food was excellent. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommend for Cajun and seafood.
I had the best Rockefeller oysters I’ve ever had, here last month. I mean better than I’ve had at the ocean a bazillion times. We came in a bout 30 mins before closing and they happily took us and served us some amazing food. Shrimp and grits were great too. All of it was. Even the kids food. Sweet tea was great. Hushpuppies were great. I was very impressed and that’s hard to do with seafood/cajun for me. I’m usually “meh, could’ve been better.” I’ll be back.
Our food was just okay. My shrimp poboy was subpar at best. The ration of shrimp to bread was some of the worse I have had. I had the grilled shrimp, and they were a little over cooked. The seafood gumbo and the chicken and sausage gumbo were both tasty. The NOLA chicken was great! The bed of potatoes were nice and hot, and the chicken was seasoned well. My side of mashed potatoes were almost room temp. I would try again, however I would not reorder the poboy due to the ratio of meat to bread.
