Juban's. Please don't use so much salt in the gumbo!
Gumbo was great. Don't let the location turn you off. It is located in a rundown strip mall but this restaurant is nicely cared for with a tasteful decor. We had the gumbo which was great and a crab appetizer that was also very tasty.
Juban's The main food was great, however I would not have served any of the side dishes. I was amazed at the poor quality and taste of the side dishes. Maybe they figure people don't really eat those, because the main part of the dish was excellent.
RecommendedWhat great time we had. COVID prevented the wife’s birthday celebration in April. The food was impeccable. The service was very attentive. The apps were a 10 out of 10 as were the entrees. The old fashion form the bar was classic and one of the best I’ve ever had. This is a go to for use on a date night. Not trying this place is doing yourself a disservice. The chef even visited with us to make sure all was right. This has never happened before. Can’t say enough about the place.
The food presentation was great Everything was impeccable Great atmosphere, cocktail was amazing! Definitely recommend this fine establishment. Thanks to my Sis for a perfect birthday dinner
