Man, this place is overhyped... or maybe we just came on an especially bad menu night?! We tried the house made saltine cracker and crab appetizer and it tasted like some crab on a flavorless cracker with added salt, it also didn't taste super fresh. The salad was good. The oxtail was pretty good, albeit overly salted, and the rice and greens it came with were completely lackluster. Dang near everything was over salted. Most courteous staff I've ever come across. Delicious, carefullly prepared and thoughtful dishes. The best.
Always sat in the beautiful backyard before.This time we tried our luck without a reservation and were ecstatic to get a table. It was indoors and the acoustics are just terrible—too loud. Just there with one friend at a two person table and it was hard to communicate. Food and drinks were delicious as always, although I was surprised when the burger came rare when I ordered, medium. This has to be one of the BEST restaurants I've ever enjoyed in all three categories. The food presentation is a work of art as well as the fantastic flavors of each of the dishes. This should be one's bucket list.
