Great staff, super caring and attentive! Prioritized insurance coverage before anything, moved up my appointment when a slot opened, were very responsible and professional while also keeping me calm and relaxed during the day of my procedure. Could not recommend Dr. Socas enough!
The worst, but worst office staff. They NEVER answer their phone calls, they are so rude and treat you like youre trash. Im angry because ive had a surgery and for months of planning for this and after they have been nothing but careless. Theres no 24h direct access to them, or photo, or video availability for us to send who live far to send to them in case of issues. I did not get a chance to meet Dr. Socas my surgeon office referred me. This review is solely based on his staff. I had to call 2 or 3 times to get a call back to see how I could set up a consultation and was told my primary and surgeons office needed to send my medical records and that I had to call to get them faxed. Normally providers will request this info themselves, but fine np. I was told they needed this before I could get an appointment. HE KNEW LIPOMA REMOVAL WAS COSMETIC AND NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE FROM THE CONSULTATION BUT WASTED MY TIME AND MONEY ON IMAGING!! I had a consultation with Dr. Socas for lipomas on my ankles. He wanted me to have an ultrasound of them prior to surgery to determine if he would resect them or liposuction them. I was told to schedule the ultrasound at his hospital so he could read it himself. My insurance was charged over $11,000 and I paid nearly $1400 out of pocket.
