Dr Alvergue is wonderful. I believe he saved my life. He always took all of my symptoms seriously and spent as much time as I needed to understand what was wrong with my heart and the surgery ahead. He is extremely personable and knowledgeable at the same time. I’m very fortunate that he is my doctor.

Dr Alvergue acted promptly and took my symptoms seriously. I believe he saved my life.
I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Alvergue. Having seen several cardiologists over the years, Dr. Alvergue provided the most comprehensive care. He worked tirelessly to come up with a treatment plan that worked specifically for me.
He has failed us more than twice. Saw him 5days before being admitted to hospital. Which resulted in 3 different hospital stays, 3 weeks, and open heart surgery. All due to ignored obvious symptoms, missed concerning test result, & lack of follow up/through. The next fail was similar but this time I acted as a more involved advocate for our loved one by attending the appointment do discuss life threatening symptoms, again, right before hospitalization. Ignored neuro signs, inaccurate referrals.
Doesn’t care to do his job or patients health care and history. Never in my life have I experienced a cardiologist that avoids doing their actual job. AVOID if you care about your health.
