Dr Alvarez did a replacement of a replacement that I had done in 2015 by another doctor, back then it was one size fits all, but it made my knee knock kneed causing my leg to be jut out to the left at the knee, causing hip pain and the feeling of falling. He replaced this bad knee and know I have a straight . I cannot thank him and his team enough. I had a great experience. I have recovered amazingly all due to Dr Alvarez.
This gentleman replaced my left knee January 12 2004 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley West Virginia. I still have the knee. I went back to work August the 2nd 2004 and retired June the 30th 2023. I worked in a manufacturing plant as a Hot Metal Crane Operator. I have not had any problems with or pain with my knee. If you need a surgeon I recommend Juan Alvarez. Thank You so much for your awesome work.
In the past 2 years I have seen Chuck Waltman and Dainna both PA's at this practice. Was given treatment with moderate to best results. My last appointment with Dainna my results only gave relief for one week. I called and received appointment with Dr Alvarez. I may as well of been a on his honey do list. Was in and out of my room in under 15 minutes. I tried to ask questions but he was not listening to me. I never got any answers just told to get MRI and start PT. Un gran profesional que desde el primer momento me dió la confianza necesaria y respondió todas mis preguntas, además tiene un muy bien entrenado equipo que me acompañó a travez de todo el proceso de la cirugia de reemplazo de cadera. Sin lugar a dudas un excelente cirujano con gran calidad humana.
Excellent experience with Dr. Alvarez and his whole team. I had a hip replacement surgery and was kept well informed about each step of the surgery and follow-up. Appointments were on time and responses to questions were very timely. I would recommend Dr. Alvarez to anyone who needs hip or knee surgery.
