The biggest coward I have ever seen this doctor hid behind a door in completed dark and attacked me when I walked into my house. Why he did it? Only he knows.
This provider will not listen to you. Won't let you try diet and exercise as a therapy or get labs that you reasonably request. 30yo, not overweight, with high triglycerides for the first time. Was offered prescribed medication, but wanted to try diet and exercise. Lost 14lbs, cut sugar and red meat, and started high dose fish oil. Requested a follow up appointment for repeat labs plus additional labs for a new concern. Dr Rodriguez denied the repeat labs because the prescription med wasn't started. Smooth, everything on time, lab work, shot, and full checkup.
I unfortunately did not have a good experience. He was not compassionate or caring and tried to talk me out of getting my shot in my shoulder so I only got one shot instead of both and then as I was leaving he said he would save the other shot for someone who really wanted it. I will not be going back. I have never had a bad experience through Kaiser with any doctors except for this one. I do not recommend this doctor.
Juan Rodriguez is a fantastic doctor and has helped me with many different medical concerns over the years.
