Josh and his helper did a first class job of installing a TimberTech deck in the back yard of our SW Portland home in August, 2025. Their bid was several thousand dollars lower than two competing bids. They completed the work several weeks before we expected. The joists placed 12" apart looked like they would withstand a heavy truck. They rented an outhouse for their use. They were personable and treated us like family. They cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend them for replacing a deck.

Josh and his team did a fantastic job. It was done very professionally, fast, and it was beautifully crafted. They were sensitive to our needs. It could not have been done better. We strongly recommend Josh to anyone who wants a great job.

I've procrastinated posting....my apologies to JTR because they earned the praise months ago. JTR did a significant deck re-fresh/rebuild for us in May. They were very communicative. They started the job on schedule. Completed ahead of schedule. They kept us fully up to date as the project progressed. On the working days they were here on time and left at a normal hour. We decided it was finally time to replace our 30-year-old cedar deck. After receiving four bids, we decided on JTR Construction. Josh has many years of experience, and his bid was very competitive. Josh and Darren tore out the old deck and installed Azek decking, Precision Rail railing and TimberTech DrySpace. After being ghosted by one builder and gas light by another, Josh was a breath of fresh air. He was prompt to the consult, fair in his pricing and excellent in communication. The build was excellent. He even put up with my teach me questions. Even the one about the poo under my deck. Yeah coyote poo he said. He didn't bat a single lash. I also let them use my bathroom instead of them having to get a porta potty. Portapotty in the summer?? Um no, that's cruel.
