I had a great experience building with JTB/Interra. One of the best things about working with this company is their warranty department. As with any new build you are going to need some touch ups or repairs. Anytime I had an issue their warranty team was quick to respond and happy to help. If you are going to build in the Grand Rapids area I highly recommend using them. They will make sure you have a high quality house and at the end of the day you will feel great about the biggest purchase in your life.
Here is a pic of the foundation after 5 years, just had professionals come look and it’s because of the poor preparation of the build site. Major issues with drainage for all the neighborhood UPDATE- i have reached out 3 times to the response below and have heard nothing meanwhile we have more cracks with water issues
Update to response from owner ... if you cared you would pay trades better . For example the company decreased our pay over a paint deal they made with sherwin williams so the cheap paint price was offset for wage decrease. Then they belong to a builder group along with sherwin williams. I bought all the paint with my own money paid taxes on both ends . The builder group with sherwin williams gives a rebate check to jtb off the money the painters pay for and we dont get a nickle of it! .This is during economic inflation. No ... read more
