After having had roof leaks from faulty pergola installs several years ago, that a couple of other roofers had told me could not be fixed, Joel was prepared to go to the effort to design, manufacture, and install bespoke flashing to fix things. Joel completed the job quickly and to a good standard. I also appreciated that he adjusted his quote according to the scope of work. However, when I asked whether a certificate was required for compliance with AS2050 (which he had mentioned in our messages), he became unnecessarily hostile and unprofessional. Despite my apology and clarification that it was just a genuine question, he insulted my character and mocked me until the end of our interaction.
