These are undoubtedly the guys you want working on your home. John and his team couldn’t have been more polite, professional, and passionate about their work. We weren’t sure whether to go with a lighter or darker wood floor, after viewing their instagram page (@jswoodfloors), we went with Special Walnut and a Satin finish - which they had done previously on a house in Scarsdale. It came out just as perfect, thanks guys! Highly recommended. (Note that pics might be before the satin finish, I’ll update shortly)
We purchased our first home and wanted to refinish our floors. We went with a friend of a friend and learned a very important lesson, “ask for work samples” before agreeing to work being done. These guys stained our floors with a color we picked out but did it absolutely WRONG. It took everything in me to hold back my tears. Travis was frustrated and felt personally responsible. J & S Wood Floors did a great job refinishing the wood floors throughout my new home. The floors look gorgeous and the color is perfect! John and his crew were reliable, friendly, and very professional. They got the job done quickly and for a reasonable price. I highly recommend J & S!
We bought a fixer upper that needs renovation in almost every single inch. We hired John to refinish our hardwood floors on approx. 1300 sq feet + the stairs. He delivered perfectly! He literally gave new life to our home, the 120 years old oak floors and stairs got their rebirth! We cannot be happier.
