As I am unable to reply to the JS rep who responded to my original post, I've edited this post (the orginal is beneath). For the record, the owner of the flooring company never met with me, a rep did. A resolution was not arrived at outside of a wax stain that he suggested I go around the house and patch each time I see white surfaces evolve on the poorly installed floors - there are gaps everywhere, HOW IS THAT RESOLUTION!!!!!!!. This is my 2nd home purchased from JS. I returned because I loved the first house. I am grateful for the one we currently reside in and significantly appreciate much of its attributes. I also had an excellent experience with Nancy and consistently with John - wonderful people. However, I am highly displeased with some critical things, most especially the substandard quality of the floors. Closed on Home February 15, 2024. Notice loud noises when running water in Master Bathroom. Didn’t call Customer Service until May 3,2024. In March of 2024, they seeded our lawn. We had a windstorm and the seeds were blown away so we never had a lawn and the tree 🌲 in front of the house that they planted was dead. BUYER BEWARE: I was so eager to purchase my 1st home that I overlooked so many errors. No one even came a year later to check the foundation as they were supposed to. I would NOT recommend this company. Everything is cheaply made. I have cracks in my ceiling & my basement leaks everytime it rains. They used very cheap material. Nothing like their model homes. I worked with stefanie who was great to work with but for the sake of her reputation, she should reconsider attaching her name to this company.
DO NOT GET FOOLED WHEN YOU WALK THROUGH THEIR MODEL HOMES; EVERYTHING IS AN UPGRADE!! Where should I start with my experiences with this builder? Horrible experience, and speaking as a third-time homebuyer, this time was the worst! From the time my basement concrete was poured till now, they were tons of mistakes made, which we had to point out each time we discovered them, and they corrected them as the building process progressed.
