$175 to tighten a loose wire seems excessive. John was timely and came the same day I called. Good communication. He fixed the problem in less than 15 minutes. It was a loose wire that may have happened when I had a light fixture hung recently by someone else. Seems nice but it's hard to justify 175 for something that took less than 15 minutes to fix. That works out to $700/hr.
John resolved a mystery electrical problem and showed me what was causing it. His work is careful and neat. He arrives reliably. And he is a very nice guy in addition to being a fine electrician.
