Juan is as good as his 5 star reviews would suggest. I have a 20 year old Subaru with 200k miles (which I have taken immaculate care of) and I won’t let just any shop work on it. Juan is skilled, honest, affordable and efficient. Goes above and beyond. Don’t let his small humble shop deter you, he’s better than any of the bigger operations.
I was on my way to Yosemite and heard knocking sounds when turning left. I called an hour before they closed, Juan told me to come by & he would take a look. When I showed up he dropped everything and took a test drive with me. He was able to diagnose the problem & explain to me that the sway bars were worn but still good to drive home on. I really appreciate the time he took to explain and show me where & how the sway bars work. By good fortune we found JS automotive during a breakdown on our family road trip. Juan is the owner and despite being very busy, he was attentive and honest. This business is a hidden gem, and I would recommend anyone to come here (either for local maintenance or for emergencies).
