My grand pawpaw taught me the Alabama B.B.Q. method when I was a kid, low and slow on the smoker. Those were special days. We would stay up all night before a large family reunion tending the fires and mopping the meat. Great experience! JR's was able to accommodate my last minute catering request and helped create a custom menu for a SuperBowl party that exceeded expectations. The ribs and pork were a huge hit. Difficult to find great BBQ in Denver and JR's not only provides great BBQ, but impressive customer service. Thank you!!
We love Jr's! Dad's Red sauce is a must in our house! Brandie's mac n'cheese was a major winner for a group of 75 kiddos! You can't go wrong!!
If I were a mutant, I would give JR's Smokehouse THREE thumbs up. I was the fortunate recipient of an entire smoked pork butt and brisket — both of which were the equivalent of two-and-a-half Christmases at once. Both cuts were almost unfairly moist; I have yet to clean up the juices that spilled on my countertop because I'm still savoring the aroma. Oh I absolutely LOVE the spicy mustard!!! I just had it with some lettuce wraps, and it makes every bite heavenly! The sauce has great flavor without too much heat----just a little kick. My whole family loves the barbecue sauce also! In fact, my kids ask for any kind of meat just so they can dip it in the sauce!
