Unprofessional and Deceptive Business Practices I hired JR Mobile Mechanics in Albany, GA, to replace the alternator, splice three wires, and install a battery on my 1994 Ford F-150 for an agreed price of $135. The technician required full payment upfront, which I provided. However, after receiving payment, he attempted to charge an additional $40 to connect the wires.
