Finally, I found a real diesel mechanic for my F-250. JR is the real deal. He got me back on the road.
JR changed my water pump and was to scan my engine. He didn't have scan tool at his shop while my boat was there so said he would do it later. 9 months later and over 30 text messages... Still no motor scan. Boat has been in Beaufort and available the whole time. Beware.....

JR promised that he'd fix my Perkins in two weeks, it took 7 months. He promised he had bought the parts, yet had no idea where to get them from. He promised to return the core so I could get credit for $ 1,100, and didn't. He said he was experienced with Perkins, yet had no idea. And when he reinstalled the engine, didn't re-align it. I lost the summer and paid double storage for it. STAY AWAY FROM JONATHAN!
