John is an honest and hard working contractor who is very friendly and personable. He replaced/repair some rotten boards on my deck and re-stained again. He also painted the interior of my house. What I like about John is that he kept my home very clean, never left a mess; he treated my house like it was his! John is the only contractor I trust for all my projects.
John did a number of different jobs for me when I lived in East Austin, ranging from replacing the subfloor in my bathroom in preparation for a re-tile, to installing a custom cedar fence and arbor in my backyard. He's honest, hardworking, and knows his trades well. I couldn't recommend him more highly.

John Wilkerson of J&R Construction did outstanding work for me in 2017. He painted all my interior doors white (were 70's brown) and wow what a difference it made. He was meticulous about getting the paint even - sanding, painting, avoiding streaks. He also revamped my decks - I have upper, lower, and side decks on my home that all had been damaged by big dogs. J&R Construction does amazing work. Experienced, honest and hard working, they did a repair to our deck that is fantastic. The original decking leaked and this project got real big real quick. The end result is awesome. I would recommend them to anyone needing either new work or repairs.
