We hired JPS Construction to build our retirement dream home in Little Compton. Overall we are thrilled with how it came out! Project manager Kevin along with Matt, Jon, and Jordan were all professional and cared about the quality of the work being done. Thank you to Jon, Aaron, and the team at JPS Construction for doing a great job on the addition to our house in Newport. They got the project done in a professional and courteous manner. The communication from the project managers, Jon and Aaron was excellent and the end product reflects the quality of the JPS internal team and their choice of sub-contractors. I would highly recommend JPS Construction for construction projects in Newport and the surrounding area.
After a decent experience with JPS in 2023, we trusted them again in 2025—and deeply regret it. A simple two-bathroom remodel turned into a nightmare. JPS ignored the design blueprint for the primary bathroom and completed the rough-in nine inches off, requiring full rework. Due to poor communication with their plumbing subcontractor, our family room ceiling was opened and closed three separate times, causing needless dust and disruption.
