My original experience renting an e-bike from Joyride Cycles was disappointing — but the owner’s follow-up made it worse. The bike I reserved wasn’t ready when I arrived, leading to delays. The replacement bike broke down mid-ride when the electronic shifter battery died, leaving me stuck in the hardest gear for the final 10 miles.
