I booked massages for my wife & I over 2 months in advance as we had a great experience a few years ago. What we experienced this time was snotty, unconfident receptionist girls with attitude. Unfortunately the massages were very unsatisfying and the whole spa was overbooked. Part of the lure of this spa is the private pool with offering food and drinks. The spa was so heavily overbooked that there was no where to sit and was as loud and chaotic as the general pools around the hotel property. We spent over $1100 for the mass... read more

Booked a couples massage and was looking forward to using the private pool afterwards. A mediocre massage experience...... The spa was so overbooked there was no where to sit and it was loud and crowded. We decided to leave and go back to our rental across town. I paid cash and later discovered that 2 $100 bills stuck together and I overpaid by $100. I remember an odd look on the girls face when she was counting, and I asked it it was the correct amount. I now see that she discovered the overpayment and kept if for herself. ... read more

The massage was amazing— I enjoyed a 90 min hot towel arnica massage. Once you check in, you have access to all of their amenities, including the terrace pool, hot tub, saunas and cold plunge. I highly recommend booking your appointment for early in the morning so you can have the day/afternoon to enjoy everything else. Enjoy!

I have been to many luxury 5-star spas and Joya Spa is one of my favorites! From the beautiful grounds of Omni Resort, to the mystical rocks and crystals, the facilities have everything you need (other than an actual cold plunge pool). The massage tables are very comfortable and every massage I’ve had there has been excellent. The therapists are wonderful and always friendly. The outdoor pool and patio area is such a treat, the food is good, and my favorite is the boho relaxation rooms, especially co-ed. My husband and I enj... read more

We were a bit disappointed with Joya. When you read their website, it tells you that someone will meet you to choose and intention and choose a stone and guide you through the initiating experience of your spa day. None of this happened. We were told to make our way up the stairs and wait by the big crystal. We waited for a significant amount of time, holding our stuff and confused, before a lady who reeked of cigarettes finally came and roughly showed us around. She seemed annoyed any time we had a question throughout the d... read more
