Joya is absolutely stunning, and the massage from my therapist Antoine was fabulous. The spa was busy, and between the tours, regular chatter from other guests and someone watching a video on their phone, the Whisper Lounge was not what I'd consider a relaxation room. But, the sunshine and the view from the pool made up for it!
Booked an appointment to get my dip polish taken off and repainted. When I got there the manicurist told me they don't remove dip polish. I explained that I had asked when I made the appointment and they said they do. She then changed what she said and said it takes longer and she had a miscommunication and she changed my booked time to now allow enough time. I had come here years ago and had a wonderful experience. I was looking forward to taking my husband, as he had never been here before. It is a beautiful spa. However, my service was not good at all. I went for a massage and left feeling as if I had had nothing done. She also was not friendly at all. Our services were almost $900 between the two of us, which we are used to paying for, but we are also used to getting wonderful service For what we pay for.
