I'm putting one star because this is an informational message I looked into it and this place has been around for 41 years but yet there's only six reviews I do not believe that that is accurate. I was told by the court that they wanted me to see a psychiatrist or whatever to do a psychological evaluation the original person that they told me to go to is in traverse City and only has 1.2 star rating. Just finished dealing with a Joy Valley Counseling representative that should be utterly shameful to them. Both my wife and I have Tramatic brain injuries that cause us many many issues including memory, concentration, communication issues and SO much more that Joy Valley is aware of. Forgetting our appointment for our son we received a call from them and listening to the lady speak to my wife so rudly I went to take the phone knowing my wife is unable to handle that kind of treatment.
