We got married in September of 2025. Joy Ridge was the best decision we made for our wedding besides getting married. The venue itself has an amazing atmosphere. Our guests were in awe of the place, especially the bar, haha! We were glad they loved it as much as we did. Joy Ridge Event Center is a wonderful option for couples who want everything close, simple and easy to navigate on their wedding day. The layout makes transitions smooth between getting ready, the ceremony, portraits and the reception without anyone feeling rushed or lost. It’s thoughtfully designed, photographs beautifully and keeps the focus where it should be, on the couple and their people. It’s the kind of place that proves you don’t need a massive venue to have a meaningful, well-run celebration.
Joy Ridge was a fantastic venue, and the staff were wonderful to work with! As cheesy as it sounds, I wish I could do my wedding day all over again because it was so fun! The venue is close to Rochester, MN, so it was easy for us to find all of our vendors. When I initially toured Joy Ridge, they asked me, "What would you most like to get out of your wedding day?".
