Fantastic Chinese.
I was excited for all the gluten free options. Portion sizes were good. Food pretty good, especially the tangerine chicken- it was even breaded AND gluten free. You dont get that - like EVER. Waitress was nice but the guy that brought the food out from the kitchen- not so much. I double checked with him my food was gluten free and he was quite short with me. Sorry dude- when you have a food intolerance you learn to double check everyone and everything....dont be offended.
Best kept secret in Sandy, IMO. Delicious, fresh hot traditional Chinese cuisine (loooove their sauces) served quickly by darling staff. The real kicker...the PRICES! They could be charging a lot more for such a really big good meal (don't miss the lunch special with the works). And to top it off, no loud obtrusive music to drown out conversation. Our favorite place to dine out.
I can’t believe I’m saying this—I’m usually very picky when it comes to American Chinese restaurants—but Joy Luck is a great one! Better than P.F. Chang’s! Everything on their menu tasted good. What’s more impressive is that they really know their food. I have a friend who’s allergic to gluten, dairy, and soy, and they knew exactly what to recommend.
