My first time experience here wasn't what I would call a good first impression. When I walked into the restaurant and walked up to the counter there was a young man behind the register. This young man was just sitting on his phone casually watching TikTok and running his fingers through his bare toes. I'm not sure if this picture messed with my taste buds or if the food was just bad, but I'll never return to this restaurant.

Joy Food in Lexington is a must-visit for Chinese cuisine. The food is hot and incredibly delicious, and the service is exceptional. Everyone there is incredibly friendly and caring. I’ve tried several other Chinese restaurants in Lexington, but Joy Food is hands down the best. I won’t go anywhere else for Chinese food.

SO GOOD!!! The bourbon chicken, sweet and sour chicken, crab rangoons, vegetable spring rolls and egg rolls are all AMAZING! I’ve been looking for a spot like this for so long! The chicken is juicy and their prices are amazing as well!! Can’t recommend this spot enough!

In from out of town. Found place driving by & had to stop in 2nd time before leaving. Portions were large, food was made fresh. Group had Sesame Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Chow Mein, Fried Rice, Sesame Beef, egg rolls & crab rangoon.. Everyone loved thier meals & i think crab rangoon was some best Ive had. Would highly recommend!
