I should have read the reviews prior to scheduling my son here. The whole point of counseling is to be able to open up and become vulnerable and then get help with de-escalating the emotions, not to be judged and labled. The worst possible experience for his first time and he will not be back.

I was a Medicaid recipient when I started seeing my counselor. I was closer to 10 visits in before she called me saying that my Medicaid was not covering my care and thus she wasn't getting paid for my visits. The issue isn't just that she waited several visits in before making sure my Medicaid would cover the cost. She also, during the same call I received, did not tell me nor email me recommendations for another counselor/therapist. DO NOT recommend this place. I never had a warm fuzzy feeling from them, more like frigid & prickly. Very impersonal and uncomfortable. Felt more like being a part of an assembly line and all you are to them is a number and paycheck. I think the focus there is more about the $$ they receive than the person they are "treating" . HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. NEVER AGAIN.
