I’ve worked with Journey Settlements on many deals over the years for my buyers, sellers and investors and it’s always a great experience. Looking forward to continue working with them!
Unfortunately, we have been through two closings with Journey and each one has been total chaos. Journey will not tell you the total amount due at closing until closing day, at which point you are expected to transfer any necessary funds and obtain a wire or cashier's check within hours (or minutes) of signing the paperwork. If the funds are not transferred, or the wire takes longer than an hour or so to process, you are out of luck. In addition, Journey will not communicate with you by phone.
