Not sure why there are flat out lies from people on here. They were a great rehab. Trips to the beach, yoga daily, small facility, pool, etc. Its holistic...so if that's not your thing, be warned. Great staff and counselors. Changed my life.
I called this morning to find out about this facility. The man John answered the phone so abruptly that it caught me off guard. He was not only rude but when I inquired who he was and what his role there was he hung up on me. This is a person who works in a facility that is there to help someone in need. So I called back again stating I was a therapist and again inquired why he was so rude and he then said he is there to hang up on therapist. LIARS-Fakes scammers went in beliving I was going to the house where there was a pool close to the beach, where there was yoga. Counselor 24/7. Private rooms. Nice grassy yard I can walk and enjoy the beach view, to help my mental state. I was suprised when I was picked up dropped up to a metterinean style hpuse in the hills of malibu over lookin a few other homes. 5bedroom home. No pool. No beach access no onsite yoga no beach view. My time at Journey may be the best investment I ever made in Myself. It's easy to fall in love with the surroundings and comfort available to clients, but in the end we are all there for one reason; to heal. Every member of the Journey staff makes themselves available to your needs. The therapeutic process is second to none and you know very quickly that they care about what is best for YOU.
